Service is a crucial element in any business, but especially in an event venue. From the venue coordinator to the wait staff, each staff member is responsible for the venue’s first impression. At Stone River, service takes precedence within our walls to ensure that every guest feels welcome and enjoys their stay. From a small corporate luncheon to a large wedding ceremony and reception, we make it our mission to serve our guests with the best quality in town.
As we reflect as a company on service, one of our weddings from this summer comes to mind. As Erin and Brad were saying their “I do’s” the sky decided to open up. First was the wind and second was the rolling thunder which our staff immediately took note of and helped guests move from the side lawn to under the pavilion. As the ceremony wrapped up, the downpour of rain began and yet again, our staff didn’t even think twice before grabbing umbrellas, making an assembly line, and allowing guests to pass under the tunnel of umbrellas from the pavilion to inside as they themselves got soaked. Since we instill such a priority on our service, it becomes second nature to take action and serve everyone who walks through our doors. Congratulations Erin and Brad; you know what they say – rain on your wedding day is good luck!
